Unlocking potential of the country's brightest young minds with Lodha Genius Programme scholarship
India has been known for its thinkers, philosophers, and mathematicians. However there is a gap in providing adequate opportunities to the academically brilliant students to achieve their full potential, at par with their global counterparts. The students often lack the guidance, career counselling and support needed to excel and as a result, their potential is not fully realized.
Recognizing the need to nurture the academically brilliant students in India, Lodha launched the Lodha Genius Programme for Indian students from grades 9 to 12, in partnership with Ashoka University.
Designed for India's finest, by the world's finest, it's a 100% scholarship programme by globally renowned faculty that includes mathematicians and scientists.
A certified summer residential program, this is scholarship for students from grades 9-12, and the programme's focus will be on Maths & Science in the first year. The programme designed and delivered by Ashoka University is structured in two parts - one-month intensive module at Ashoka University campus based at Sonipat, followed by year-round online mentorship as well as career counselling. The residential programme has 3 major components - The Great Ideas Seminar, The Mathematics Problem Solving Seminar and The Science Project. These will inculcate problem solving skills, inspire students to tackle challenging problems and work on hands-on science projects.
Delivered by distinguished faculty from top universities, it will give the students an opportunity to experience what it is like to be a scientist or mathematician in future. It will help them develop strong lateral thinking skills and a problem-solving mindset, providing them with the tools and resources they need to approach complex challenges in a creative and effective way. For instance, The Great Ideas Seminar will be by Prof. K. VijayRaghavan, Chair of the Scientific Advisory Council, Ashoka University; Prof. Somak Raychaudhury, Vice Chancellor, Professor of Astrophysics, Ashoka University; Prof. Yamuna Krishnan, Professor of Chemistry, University of Chicago; Prof. Jack Szostak, Nobel Laureate, Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, University of Chicago and Prof. Priyamvada Natarajan, Professor of Astronomy and Physics, Yale University.
Besides this, the program will provide students with specialized resources to help them unlock their full potential. It offers a range of resources and services, including personalized academic and career counselling, specialized workshops, mentorship and networking opportunities, and access to advanced research facilities and resources.

How to apply to Lodha Genius Programme scholarship for students?
The scholarship programme is open to students in grades 9 to 12 who demonstrate exceptional academic performance, leadership potential, and passion for learning. The application for the scholarship opened on 6 th March, 2023 and the last day to apply is 10 th April, 2023. The scholarship application will be evaluated on the basis of the academic performance (your mark sheet/s) and an online aptitude test tentatively scheduled on 15 th April, 2023. The shortlisted students will then be a part of the on-campus programme at Ashoka University campus between - May 18 th - June 17 th , 2023. There will be 100% scholarship provided to the shortlisted students to cover the costs including the summer campus program.
